The Catalyst Challenge is a single stage. To pass, complete 15 qualifying trades within your 30-day window without breaking the max loss, the one rule that applies throughout. There is no minimum time. You can complete all 15 and pass in a single day. Here is how all three pieces work together:
Qualifying trades are your objective. A qualifying trade is a single closed trade with realized profit at or above your account's qualifying trade amount. You need 15 qualifying trades.
The 30-day timer is your deadline for the whole challenge. It starts the moment you begin and runs continuously, it does not pause for weekends, holidays, or market downtime. If it expires before you pass the challenge, the challenge ends. You're welcome to purchase a new challenge to try again.
The max loss is the only rule. If your balance including open positions drops your account's max loss amount below the highest realized account balance reached, the challenge ends immediately, regardless of how many qualifying trades you have completed or how much time is left. See how the max loss rule works.
