What is the difference between Order History and Trade History?

Learn the differences between Order History and Trade History and when to use each one

These two tabs are related but show different things. Knowing which one to check saves time when you are trying to understand what happened.

Order History shows everything you submitted: every order you placed, whether it filled, partially filled, was canceled, or is still open. It records the market, the direction, how many contracts you asked for, the price you got, and the final status. If you want to understand how a specific order was processed, including why only part of it filled, this is where you look.

Trade History shows what actually completed. It reflects closed position activity after contracts have executed and results have settled into your account. If you want to know whether a trade counted as a qualifying trade, what your realized profit was, or why your balance changed after closing a position, Trade History is where you go.

You may need to check both tabs to get the full picture. Order History shows how the order executed, Trade History shows how the result settled.
