Why is my data delayed or my position settled unexpectedly?

Common reasons your dashboard numbers lag, why a position may have closed without warning, and when to reach out to support

Most of the time when something looks off on your dashboard, there is a straightforward explanation. Here are the most common ones.

Why data looks delayed

What you see

Most likely reason

Balance or trade count has not updated after a market resolves

The market has not fully settled yet. Results only update after settlement is finalized β€” not when the event appears to end.

Market resolved but position is still showing open

The market may be in a dispute process, which can take 4–6 days. Or there is a brief processing delay β€” allow up to 30 minutes after the market confirms resolution.

Numbers did not refresh immediately after placing a trade

Allow a few moments for the platform to reflect updated results. Refresh the page if needed.

If a market has resolved and your dashboard still looks wrong after 30 minutes, contact support with the market name and a screenshot.

Why a position settled unexpectedly

If a position closed in a way you were not expecting, it is usually one of three things:

  • The market resolved while you were not watching. Most markets settle within a few hours of the event ending. If you were not actively monitoring, the settlement may appear in your account without warning.

  • Your level ended. When a level ends, due to the Max Loss being hit, the 30-day timer expiring, or passing, all open positions are closed at their current market price. This applies to every account when an evaluation concludes.

  • The determination time passed. Some markets resolve at a specific time defined in the About section, not at the moment the event concludes. Check the determination time in the market's About section if you expected it to stay open longer.

If you believe a position closed in a way that does not match any of the above, contact support with the market name, the time it settled, and a screenshot.
