Your payout is a fixed cash amount, set by your account size, awarded once you pass the challenge. There's nothing to request. The moment you meet all requirements to pass the challenge, your full payout is deposited directly to your Catalyst wallet.

There are no partial payouts.

Each trader can earn up to $10,000 in total payouts across all challenges combined. The cap counts payouts only. Entry fees and your simulated trading profit have no effect on it.

What happens when I reach the $10,000 lifetime payout cap?

Once your total payouts reach $10,000, you have earned the maximum Catalyst currently pays out. Everything already in your wallet stays yours and you can withdraw it as normal. You can still purchase and trade challenges after that point, but passing them will not generate any further payout. There is no funded or live account to move on to. Catalyst is a simulated trading challenge at every account size, so there is no next stage beyond the cap.

Is the $10,000 cap based on payouts or on my trading profit?

The $10,000 cap counts the payouts deposited to your wallet, not your simulated trading profit. Payouts are fixed cash amounts set by your account size, so the cap is not affected by how much profit you generated inside a challenge, and it is not reduced by anything you paid to enter.

Will the lifetime payout cap change?

The $10,000 lifetime payout cap is our current policy. If it changes, we will update this article and announce the change by email.

What if a payout would take me over the $10,000 cap?

If a payout would take your lifetime total above $10,000, you receive only the amount remaining up to the cap. For example, if you have earned $9,500 in payouts and you pass an Elite challenge with a $1,500 payout, $500 is deposited to your wallet and you have reached the cap.

Once your payout lands in your wallet you will receive a confirmation email. From there you can withdraw the funds or use them toward a Catalyst purchase. There is no waiting period and no minimum hold time.
