This article is for traders on the $15K Challenge, which is no longer available for purchase. It has five sequential levels. If you're currently on a $15K Challenge, the rules below apply for as long as it's active. The current Catalyst Challenge does not have levels. The $15K Challenge has five sequential levels. To pass each one, you complete a qualifying trade target within 30 days while staying within the max loss rule.
Qualifying trades are your objective. A qualifying trade is earned when your combined realized P&L on a single market hits $500 or more.
The 30-day timer is your deadline. It runs continuously and does not pause for weekends, holidays, or market downtime. If it expires before you complete your qualifying trades, the level ends.
The max loss is the only rule. From Level 2 onward, if your realized account balance drops $1,000 from its highest point during the level, the level ends immediately. Level 1 has no max loss.
The table below shows the qualifying trades, max loss, payout, and reset fee for each level of the legacy $15K Challenge. These reset fees apply only to the legacy $15K Challenge.

Can I reset a level on the legacy $15K Challenge?
Yes. Resets are available on the legacy $15K Challenge. If a level ends, you can purchase a reset within 7 calendar days to retry that same level. A reset restores your balance to $15,000, sets your qualifying trade count back to zero, starts a new 30-day timer, and restarts the level you were on. Nothing from the previous attempt carries over. Reset fees for the legacy $15K Challenge are in the table above, and reset purchases are final and non-refundable.

Resets are not available on the current Catalyst Challenge, which launched July 30, 2026. If you are on a Starter, Pro, or Elite account, you cannot reset or retry a challenge.
To pass any level, all of the following must be true at the same time
You have completed the required number of qualifying trades
Your realized account balance is above $15,000
You have not hit the max loss limit (Level 2 and above)
You are within the 30-day timer
Additional rules that apply at all levels
Maximum position size: $1,500 per market
One profile per person
There is no profit target
There are no daily loss limits
Levels 1 and 2 are practice rounds. No cash payout is awarded at either level. Payouts begin at Level 3.
