NO PURCHASE OR CHALLENGE ENTRY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Sponsor. Trade Catalyst Inc., 8 The Green #24796, Dover, DE 19901.
Agreement to Rules. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules, the Catalyst Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. These Rules control over the Terms of Service as to eligibility, entry mechanics, scoring, schedule, prize structure, and tie-break. They do not waive or limit Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, or 13 of the Terms of Service.
Nature of the Competition. This is a contest of skill. Entrants are ranked solely on the accuracy of their predictions under the published scoring formula below. No entry fee, wager, or stake is required or permitted, and no securities, commodities, or event contracts are bought, sold, or held. No prize is awarded by chance or random selection. This is not a sweepstakes, lottery, or gambling product.
Eligibility. Open to individuals 18 or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence if higher, at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Not open to residents of jurisdictions Catalyst restricts under Terms of Service Section 4.4, or to any person or jurisdiction subject to U.S. or other applicable sanctions; the current restricted list is in the Help Center. Current employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Trade Catalyst Inc. and its affiliates, agencies, and prize suppliers, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to win. Limit one entry and one profile per person, platform-wide (Terms of Service Section 3.1).
Entry Period. September 8, 2026 through January 10, 2027, the conclusion of the 2026 NFL regular season.
How to Enter. Create a free Catalyst profile or sign in to your existing profile, verify your phone number, and submit picks. Each game locks at its own kickoff. Picks cannot be submitted or changed after a game locks. Unpicked games score zero. Entry is free and no Catalyst Challenge purchase is required to enter or win.
Scoring. Each game carries a percentage for each side, taken from live prediction market prices. A correct pick banks points equal to 100 minus the percentage assigned to the side you picked, which is the percentage the market assigned to the opposing side. A pick on a 40% side that wins banks 60 points; a pick on a 60% side that wins banks 40 points. An incorrect pick banks zero. Points are never deducted. Points are fixed at the percentage displayed at the moment the pick is submitted. Subsequent movement in the market price does not change the points attached to a pick already made. Percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number. Season score is the sum of all points banked during the Entry Period.
Prizes. Total announced value of all prizes is $15,000: $10,000 in cash and $5,000 in Catalyst Challenges. Cash prizes totaling $10,000, awarded on final season standings: 1st $2,500, 2nd $1,750, 3rd $1,250, 4th $1,000, 5th $850, 6th $700, 7th $600, 8th $500, 9th $450, 10th $400. Catalyst Challenge entries with a total approximate retail value of $5,000, awarded during the season on objective criteria published in advance. The criterion for each award and the Challenge tier being awarded are published in the Help Center before the first kickoff of the week to which it applies. Criteria are measured from competition data and no prize is awarded by random selection or at Sponsor's discretion. Approximate retail value is the published entry price of the applicable Challenge tier. Prizes are personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable, with no cash substitution except at Sponsor's discretion. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, local, and foreign taxes. Sponsor will issue tax documentation where required, including for non-cash prizes.
Winner Selection and Ties. Winners are ranked by total season points. If two or more entrants tie for a prize-winning place, the prize money for that place and the next consecutive place or places will be combined and divided evenly among the tied entrants. If a tie occurs at 10th place with no subsequent place to combine, the 10th place prize will be divided evenly among the tied entrants. Non-cash prizes that cannot be divided will be awarded to the tied entrant whose qualifying picks were submitted earliest.
Notification. Winners of season-end cash prizes will be notified by email within 10 business days of the end of the Entry Period. Winners of in-season Challenge prizes will be notified by email within 10 business days of the award being determined.
Verification and Prize Claim. Winners must complete identity verification, submit any required tax forms (W-9 for U.S. persons, W-8BEN for non-U.S. persons), and execute an eligibility affidavit, liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release before a prize is released. A winner must respond to the winner notification and begin verification within seven (7) days of the date of notification. Prizes not claimed within that period are forfeited and will not be awarded to any other entrant. Cash prizes are paid in U.S. dollars. Prizes awarded to non-U.S. persons may be subject to U.S. withholding tax, which Sponsor will deduct where required.
Challenge Prize Terms. Challenge entries awarded as prizes are credited to the winner's Catalyst account and expire thirty (30) days after being credited. Where the one active evaluation limit in Terms of Service Section 3.1 prevents a winner from starting a credited Challenge, the thirty (30) day period begins when the winner's prior evaluation ends. Challenge prizes carry no cash value and are subject to the Catalyst Program Rules.
Prohibited Conduct. The following are prohibited and may result in disqualification, forfeiture, revocation, or clawback of any prize, including after standings are published and after a prize is announced or disbursed, and a permanent ban:
Creating, controlling, or benefiting from more than one profile or entry; entering under a name that is not your own; entering for the benefit of another person; selling, transferring, purchasing, or brokering an entry or standings position; acting with others to submit coordinated picks to increase the prize positions or amounts obtained by any person or group; agreeing with any other person to pool, split, or share a prize; submitting or altering a pick after a game locks, or circumventing any lock by any means; submitting a pick on an outcome already publicly known or determinable; tampering with scoring, standings, or another entrant's entry; and using any script, bot, macro, or automated entry tool. Sponsor monitors for coordinated entry patterns, shared devices, and shared network infrastructure (Terms of Service Sections 3.1, 6.1, 7.10.3, 7.10.5, 7.10.6, 7.10.7, 7.10.8, 7.10.9).
Competition Administration. Sponsor may correct scoring errors, void a game or entry, adjust the Entry Period, and make scoring adjustments where an NFL game is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or where prediction market pricing for a game is unavailable or erroneous. Where a technical failure, data feed error, cancellation or postponement of an underlying event, suspected manipulation, or other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control compromises the integrity of the competition, Sponsor may cancel or suspend it and either award prizes on standings at that point or make no award. Standings, scoring, and final results as determined by Sponsor are final and binding.
General Conditions. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who violates these Rules or the Terms of Service. Sponsor may modify these Rules where necessary to correct an error, comply with law, or preserve the integrity of the competition. Material changes will be posted in the Help Center. Sponsor's decisions are final, subject only to the dispute resolution terms in the Terms of Service.
Limitation of Liability and Governing Law. By entering, you release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and agents from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this competition or the receipt or use of a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical or platform failure affecting entry or scoring. Any dispute arising from these Rules is governed by, and will be resolved under, the arbitration, governing law, and class-action waiver provisions of Catalyst's Terms of Service.
Privacy. Information collected from entrants is handled under the Catalyst Privacy Policy.
